International Engineering Internship (Germany Placement - TU Students Only)Location: Fulda/Schlüchtern, Germany (international placement)Program Summary:MIRATECH is excited to partner with the University of Tulsa (TU) to offer a dynamic International Internship Program designed to provide qualified TU students with international exposure, cross-cultural learning, and hands-on experience in engineering. This program is a unique opportunity for students to study and gain real-world experience in Germany while working on innovative environmental and emission control technologies with MIRATECH.Who Should Apply:This internship is open only to students currently enrolled at the University of Tulsa who meet the following eligibility requirements:Enrolled in TU's International Engineering and Language ProgramPursuing a STEM-related degreeDemonstrating progress toward German language proficiencyProgram Timeline & Structure:This is a two-semester international program designed to align with both U.S. and German academic calendars:First Semester: Study abroad at the University of Siegen or another TU-approved exchange partner in GermanySecond Semester: Internship opportunity with MIRATECH in GermanyKey Dates:German Semester Periods:Winter: October 1 - March 31Summer: April 1 - September 30Internship Start in Germany: After completing a semester course in Germany with the TU IEL program.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with international engineering teams on projects involving emissions control systemsContribute to product development, testing, or process improvement initiativesParticipate in cross-cultural meetings and engineering reviewsSupport engineering documentation, data analysis, and hands-on technical tasksRepresent TU and MIRATECH professionally abroadPreferred Qualifications:Ability to travel and reside internationally for an extended periodWillingness to learn and adapt in multicultural environmentsStrong communication skills and teamwork orientationAdditional Program Details & Support:Housing in Germany: Not provided, but MIRATECH can connect students with trusted housing contacts in the Fulda/Schlüchtern regionVisa Support: MIRATECH provides documentation, but does not cover legal/visa feesResidence Permits: MIRATECH can assist with immigration procedures upon requestTravel & Cost Responsibilities (Student):Housing expenses (U.S. & Germany)Travel and visa-related feesLiving expenses during study and work abroad
