Job Summary Sesame Workshop is looking for a 1 year temporary Junior Marketing Manager to support the Director of Marketing in Europe in executing the European marketing strategy across Germany, the UK, and future markets such as the Netherlands and Spain. You will take ownership of the operational execution of marketing activities, coordinate campaigns and projects, manage day-to-day collaboration with agencies and external partners, and ensure that marketing initiatives are delivered effectively and on time. With a strong focus on target audience marketing, social media, and influencer collaborations, you will play an important role in increasing brand awareness and strengthening the connection with consumers and fans of the brand. Responsibilities & Delivery Target Audience Marketing & Project Management * Support the Director Marketing Europe in planning and executing target audience-focused marketing initiatives and campaigns. * Coordinate and manage marketing projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and milestones are met. * Support initiatives targeting different consumer groups, with a focus on young mothers and families, children as the core target audience, the extended family, and brand fans. * Prepare performance updates, identify learnings and optimization opportunities for future marketing activities. Social Media Marketing * Develop creative content ideas for the social media channel, including seasonal campaigns, cultural moments, and relevant events. * Manage day-to-day collaboration with the external social media freelancer. Influencer, Creator & Blogger Marketing * Research and identify relevant influencers, bloggers, and content creators for strategic partnerships, with a focus on young mothers and family audiences. * Coordinate briefings, content reviews, approvals, and timelines. * Monitor content quality, impact, and identify opportunities for improvement. This role may perform other related duties as needed to support team and organizational priorities. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. * First professional experience in marketing, brand management, social media, influencer marketing, or project management (e.g. internships, working student experience, or first full-time role). * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and priorities independently. * Creative, consumer-focused mindset with a passion for engaging content and storytelling. * Structured, analytical approach that turns insights into action. * Confident communicator, comfortable working with different stakeholders and external partners. * Curiosity and enthusiasm for social media, influencer marketing, and consumer trends, with a willingness to learn in a fast-moving international environment. * Fluent in English and German, written and spoken Sesame Workshop Hybrid Work Policy This position is based at our Germany office and follows a hybrid work model. In-office requirements vary by role and employee group, and currently range from two to five designated in-office days per week.
