About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Vehicle Testing Engineer Intern to join our European real-vehicle testing team. You will participate in on-road testing of autonomous driving and ADAS systems, identify and document issues, perform data analysis, and deliver structured test reports to drive product improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct real-vehicle road testing on designated routes across European cities, following standardized test procedures
- Record and classify test issues in real time, including takeover events, system anomalies, and edge cases
- Analyze test data, identify root causes and patterns, and produce structured test reports with clear conclusions and actionable feedback
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to communicate field findings and track issue resolution
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools (such as Python or JavaScript) to automate data processing, streamline test workflows, and improve reporting efficiency
- Support test planning, route management, and vehicle preparation as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Valid European driver's license (Category B), comfortable with extended driving sessions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured reports
- Basic programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for scripting and data processing
- Proficiency in English, Chinese; German is a plus
- Familiarity with ADAS or autonomous driving concepts is preferred but not required
Nice to Have
- Experience with vehicle testing, road testing, or QA processes
- Knowledge of data visualization tools or reporting frameworks
- Familiarity with issue tracking systems such as Jira or Feishu/Lark
- Understanding of European traffic regulations and road environments
