Senior Manager (w/m/d) Internal Audit - International

in Vollzeit mit unbefristetem Vertrag.

Sie möchten Ihre langjährige Audit-Expertise in einem internationalen Industrieumfeld einbringen und aktiv zur Weiterentwicklung von Governance, Risikomanagement und Compliance beitragen? Dann werden Sie Teil von Westlake und verantworten Sie unser Internal-Audit-Programm für Europa und Asien.

DAS ERWARTET SIE BEI UNS

  • Sie planen, steuern und verantworten interne Prüfungen in unseren internationalen Geschäftsbereichen (Europa & Asien)
  • Sie führen Risikoanalysen im Rahmen des Enterprise Risk Managements (ERM) durch und entwickeln unsere Audit-Strategie mit weiter
  • Sie erstellen Berichte und Präsentationen für das Top-Management und den Vorstand
  • Sie analysieren Finanz-, IT- und operative Prozesse und bewerten deren Effizienz sowie interne Kontrollsysteme
  • Sie beraten das Management hinsichtlich Risikominimierung und Prozessoptimierung
  • Sie übernehmen Verantwortung für Teile unseres Sarbanes-Oxley-(SOX)-Compliance-Programms (inkl. IT- und Prozesskontrollen)
  • Sie identifizieren Verbesserungspotenziale und verfolgen die Umsetzung von Maßnahmen nachhaltig nach
  • Sie leiten nationale und internationale Auditprojekte und koordinieren interne Teams sowie externe Partner
  • Sie arbeiten eng mit relevanten Fachbereichen wie Finance, IT, HR, Produktion, Einkauf und Logistik zusammen

    • SIE PASSEN GUT ZU UNS, WENN SIE

  • ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Betriebswirtschaft, Finance, Accounting oder vergleichbar mitbringen
  • über mindestens 8 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Internal Audit verfügen
  • über mindestens 8 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich SOX Compliance in einem internationalen Umfeld verfügen
  • fundierte Kenntnisse in Audit-Standards, COSO-Framework und Risikomanagement besitzen
  • Erfahrung in der Prüfung und Optimierung internationaler Geschäftsprozesse mitbringen
  • analytisch und lösungsorientiert arbeiten und komplexe Sachverhalte verständlich aufbereiten können
  • über ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten verfügen
  • sicher in Deutsch und Englisch kommunizieren
  • idealerweise Kenntnisse in SAP sowie Erfahrung in Industrie-, Chemie- oder Produktionsumfeld haben
  • bereit sind, international zu reisen (ca. 30 %)

    Senior Manager (f/m/d) Internal Audit - International

    Full-time, permanent position

    Would you like to leverage your extensive audit expertise in an international industrial environment and actively contribute to the development of governance, risk management, and compliance? Then join Westlake and take responsibility for our internal audit program across Europe and Asia.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

  • You plan, manage, and oversee internal audits across our international operations in Europe and Asia
  • You conduct risk assessments as part of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and support the development of the audit strategy
  • You prepare reports and presentations for executive management and the Board of Directors
  • You analyze financial, IT, and operational processes and evaluate their effectiveness and internal control systems
  • You advise management on risk mitigation and process optimization
  • You take responsibility for parts of our Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program (including IT and process controls)
  • You identify improvement opportunities and ensure sustainable implementation of corrective actions
  • You lead national and international audit projects and coordinate internal teams as well as external partners
  • You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Finance, IT, HR, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics

    • YOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU

  • hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field
  • have at least 8 years of professional experience in internal audit
  • have at least 8 years of experience in SOX compliance in an international environment
  • possess strong knowledge of audit standards, COSO framework, and risk management practices
  • have experience auditing and optimizing international business processes
  • demonstrate strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • are fluent in English and German
  • ideally bring SAP knowledge and experience in industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environments
  • are willing to travel internationally (approx. 30%)
