IT Specialist (m/f/d) Networking and Inventory Management Work location: Landshut – up to Pay Grade A11 / up to Pay Grade 11 TV-L Your Area of Responsibility The IuK1 Division—ICT Operations—is responsible for providing and maintaining approximately 5,000 IT workstations in the agricultural administration, including mobile devices. Your Responsibilities Configuration and further development of the firewall and general network technology, particularly the configuration of switches Management of the agency’s network connections Representing the interests of the Agricultural Administration (FüAk) at department-wide meetings Department-wide implementation of a new inventory management solution, including installation and configuration Planning, procurement, repair management, and shipping of hardware (approx. 5,000 clients) Receiving deliveries and managing and maintaining the hardware warehouse at the FüAk Ensuring IT security for the areas under your responsibility You have a successfully completed degree (bachelor’s or university of applied sciences diploma) in administrative informatics, computer science, or a comparable field with an IT focus, along with relevant professional experience in the described area of responsibility or a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist with many years of professional experience in managing IT infrastructures or Qualification for entry into the third qualification level of the Natural Sciences and Technology career track, with relevant professional experience in the described area of responsibility Knowledge and experience in the following areas Network technology and switch configuration Server and client operating systems (Windows) Directory and server services Preferred: Experience in IT storage and inventory management A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work Teamwork and communication skills Quick learner Cost-conscious approach Ability to handle conflicts Sense of responsibility and willingness to take on responsibility German language proficiency at least at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) What We Offer Permanent position or conversion to permanent status up to pay grade A11; higher pay grades require assessment on a case-by-case basis.
