Founded in Berlin, autarc is a 55 person start-up which graduated from Y Combinator in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations and we serve more then 2.000 customers in Germany. 

Our next step is to expand into new countries and the Italian market is next – that is why we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Italian speaking intern to join our team in Berlin.

Role description

You will be working alongside the GTM Lead and the Sales team with hands out tasks around our expansion. This internship has a specific focus on sales, business development and product expansion. 

• Hands on support of our sales team in their day-to-day work, including customer contact
• Translate and develop our sales decks and marketing material
• Take part in events, fairs and customers visits on-side in Italy
• Support the development of AI and automation tools that improve our effectiveness

The role has a 75/25 split between operational tasks & strategic topics. Anticipated starting date for this 4-6 months internship would be 1st of January 2026.Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics or software engineering
• Previous startup, consulting or VC experience
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Based in Berlin with a willingness to work hybrid (office in Mitte)

About us

Right now, 25% of CO2 emissions in Europe are caused by heating our buildings. In order for this to be reduced, the transition towards renewable energy needs to be simplified and made more accessible. There are too few installers to meet the growing demand for heat pumps, and a solution to match this trend needs to be brought to the market.
autarc is developing the leading operating system (OS) for heat pump installers, enabling a more digital and efficient installation process for heat pumps.
Through this, autarc is reducing the hurdles to decarbonizing single-family homes and small apartment buildings in Europe, with the goal to help with the planning and designing of 1 million heat pumps by 2030.
